If the computer appears to be starting but nothing is displayed on the screen, the first thing to check is that the signal lead from the screen to the computer is firmly attached. The next check is that the screen has power. Most monitors will have a power indicator which will be lit when the screen is turned on. If this is flashing, or coloured orange on some models, the monitor may not be receiving a signal from the computer. It may be that the video card in the PC is faulty, or it may be that the display unit has a fault. If you have another screen available, you could connect that to the computer to determine whether the problem is with the display or the PC. If you prefer, our engineer can determine where the problem lies and solve it for you.
