Domain Names

Your domain name identifies you or your business on the Internet. If you want to find the BBC for example, looking for bbc.co.uk would be a good place to start. All significant companies have their own domain name - it is simply more professional. If you use an e-mail address like "thebuilder @aol.com" you mark yourself as a small (and possibly disorganised) company, whereas if you use "mail @thebuilder.com" you automatically look more professional. The same applies to personal domains, especially if you work in a communications job such as marketing or PR. An address like "mail @yourname.com" helps to demonstrate that you are a professional who understands modern communications. PC Rescue can register your name for you and arrange one or more e-mail addresses for you, your family or your business.
